As stated in my previous reply, if you want to keep a local directory in
sync within Razuna, you can use the linked folder option. Another one is
to create a watch folder and Razuna will automatically import the files.
It is correct that *original* of a linked file does not show in the
browser (that is a security configuration of a web server to not show
files outside of the root). Therefore, Razuna creates the thumbnail
for you (stored in Razuna) and one should create renditions (stored in
Razuna) in order to serve them to the browser.
Most likely this approach will not change with any future release
as many of our customers use Razuna in this way. The only new addition
will be to update the linked folder automatically within Razuna.
I am having the same problem and when I run exiftools manually, I get the correct dimensions. I am running Razuna 1.6.5 on a stock elastic server VM that I downloaded from the Cohesive FT website. We are demoing DAMs and I'm eager to fix this before I show Razuna to our creative team.
Thanks for the help. We are definitely considering a support plan.
While I didn't fix the upload issue directly, I got it working. I just started from scratch with a new 1.6.5 standalone download(we were using 1.6.2) and pointed the install to all the tools - set my storage drive, and it works great.
Razuna does not upload to the bin folder. Not sure how you have the files in there. You should be able to safely remove those files. Please check your Tenant Settings>Storage Location value in the Razuna administration UI and ensure its not set to the bin folder by any chance. Please look at the instructions here on how to set the asset directory to another location properly
Honestly, I have no idea. This is working on all installations and you are the first with an issue here.
You can look into the Administration/Logs/Errors to see if there are some errors. Also check the engine log errors (/razuna/WEB-INF/bluedragon/work/temp/rtelogs) to see if there are some errors, related to this.
